Venkatesh, This was quite a blog and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. With Germany winning 2014 world cup, your hypothesis gets a lot more interesting. Btw, it was a great refresher to see the war history of many of the countries listed here. Keep these blogs coming!
Regarding your Blog “success in football” . You have indicated the internal & external strife of the successful countries. I would like to add that countries like Russia, Yugoslavia ( currently Croatia & Serbia), China , India, etc have also undergone internal and external strife in their history but are still way behind the successful teams.
I feel the reason is the passion for the game. Also note that World Cup became popular after 2nd world war, wherein, Germany , Italy, etc needed to prove a point.
Also any game requires a leader and a strategy to be successful.
I would like to commend your blog as the hypothesis have been argued with facts.

ReplyDeleteNow the upshot of my cogitation is that I have the basic material to develop on the following hypothesis:
“All present-day surgeons who perform complex procedures on fellow humans have had forefathers who were skilled butchers”
Sounds exciting? Great! And there’s more.. I would like to use your blog to announce that I am looking for sponsors for this research.
This is a limited-period offer so please be so kind as to direct all those inquires to me.
